South Tampa Homes In The Plant School District


Established in 1926, H.B. Plant High School has been honored by The Washington Post, U.S. News & World Report, and Newsweek/The Daily Beast as one of the top high schools in the nation. In addition, Greatschools.org rated H.B. Plant High School as one of the top public high schools in Florida. The school boundaries occasionally change, but the district encompasses most of South Tampa, Davis Islands, and Harbour Island. Many families specifically move into the Plant district instead of paying for private schools. The grade schools in the Plant district are Mabry Elementary, Mitchell Elementary, Gorrie Elementary, and Grady Elementary. The middle schools are Wilson Middle and Coleman Middle School.
